How neat! I especially love Pinkie as Charlotte, it fits her so well, Kyu-bunny too....Though I wish you'd upload a version without a watermark, it's always so disappointing when pictures have a big one that blocks a huge part of it....But it is a cute picture
Ummmmm... i think that you're wrong cuz RD is perfect as Miki Sayaka cuz for their color, their loyalty and also for being idiot sometimes. And also AJ is perfect As Sakura Kyouko still for their color and they both love apples.
No, no, the blue in Miki's OUTFIT makes RD look bad is what I'm saying. It looks bland. The blue of Miki's outfit compliments AJ's warm orange better whereas the red in Kyouko's red contrasts well with RD's cooler colour. Regardless, I've heard the apple joke before. She kind of just likes food.
Beyond that, Applejack and Rainbow Dash have pretty much SWITCHED elements in their personalities. Which is odd, but it makes the switch better for the outfits.~
It was mostly a design thing, so no need to get up in arms about it. c:
I don't know why, but Pinkie-Charlotte really seems to work. And Angel-QB is fucking perfect. Other than that though, it'd make more sense to swap AJ with RD and Fluttershy with Rarity. It just seems to match their personalities better that way. Sayaka and RD both have the tomboy wannabe-hero thing going on and Homura originally was very Fluttershy-ish. I understand that the colors work better with Rarity-Homura and Mami-shy, but something just seems wrong with having AJ as Sayaka and not Kyouko.
Its funny how much MLP and Madoka are complete opposites. MLP is a "kick-back-and-enjoy" cartoon with pastel ponies that live life in a magical and happy world while spreading joy and happiness amongst other ponies and the viewer. It doesnt ask any serious questions or tries to be talk about serious issues in any way, since its a kids show. Madoka is a bloody serious and multi-layered anime that first lures viewers into believing its an innocent magical girl anime in the vein of Sailor Moon in the first two and a half episodes, and then slams the viewers in the face with the bloody reality. It turns into an anime that asks serious questions about the magical girls, and answers all of them at some point,or hints towards the solution. It requires the viewer to focus and feel the characters' pain as magical girls, while applying an "everyone can die at ANY point" mantra that makes viewers fear for every character's life. It is an extremely well-done and masterfully constructed anime that ends up spreading sadness and despair amongst the characters, aswell as the viewer, while referencing works like the original Little Mermaid story (not the disney adaptation) and even Faust.
While amazing, this picture does bring some unfortunate thoughts to mind: Pinkie-Witch will end up killing Mami-Shy, and Kyooko-Dash will end up sacrificing herself to kill Sayaka-Jack after she turns into a witch. Rarity gets the horrible existence of repeating time-lines, Twilight will transcend reality, and Angel... well, Angel is right where he belongs...
